WMU (Women's Missionary Union)
Woman’s Missionary Union (WMU) helps Southern Baptists fulfill the Great Commission. We understand the challenges church leaders face — limited time, resources, and volunteers — when trying to mobilize their congregation for missions. But we also believe every church member is mandated by God to obey the Great Commission. We strive to assist, mobilize, and be obedient to our Lord's great commission.
Men's Discipleship
Our men's discipleship focuses on intentionally equipping men to become spiritual leaders in their homes, our church church, and the communities. It goes beyond simple Bible study to encompass deep accountability, practical life application, and building authentic, lasting friendships within our church family.
Worship
Worship at SHBC is praise and worship focused. We pray, praise our Lord with traditional Baptist hymns, and proclaim the truth's of the Bible. This is all done to bring praise and honor to the Lord, Jesus Christ. Our worship is intended to accomplish two things, glorify Jesus Christ, and bring believers into a closer relationship with their Lord and Savior
